#220426 亚菁非洲鱼云吞面（万挠）

从怡保回麻坡，路经万挠，乘机试一下万挠出门的非洲鱼Tilapia。

炸脆脆还不错，但谈不上是好吃的鱼种，100克RM4。

#220426 The Haven Ipoh Resort

This beautiful resort is set on the edge of an evergreen virgin forest on a prehistoric site dating over 200 million years.

#220425 Lost World of Tambun Night Hotspring

I think it's the first time for me to try night hotspring and I truly enjoyed this experience.

There are several pools in which temperatures vary between the pools (from 40°C to 45°C) allowing you to find the perfect one to relax and soak in. There is also a Steam Cave which acts as a sauna which is quite interesting.

If there's an opportunity, I would love to come here again!

#220425 Ipoh Tuck Kee Restaurant ( 德记炒粉店 )

This long-standing restaurant has been operating for more than 50 years and is known for its dependably good fried noodles dishes.

Truth be told, the food though tasty weren't very memorable.

Also, baby octopus is not a common dish served in restaurants in Muar & Singapore.

#220425 怡保南香茶餐室 NAM HEONG

Nam Heong is well known for being the original coffee shop that then franchised out to become Old Town White Coffee.

I think this is my 2nd visit here.

However, the white coffee and the food is nothing to rave about in my opinion.

#220425 Tanjung Tualang Tin Dredge No. 5

On the way from KL to Ipoh, we dropped by Tanjung Tualang to visit this last tin dredge of Malaysia.

Tanjung Tualang Tin Dredge is a unique relic from Malaysia’s tin mining heydays. TT5 was in operation for 44 years until 1982 by which time the Malaysian tin industry was in rapid decline due to a combination of exhausted tin deposits, low tin prices and high operating costs.

#220425 霹雳 (Perak) 美罗 - 鸭腿面

目的地是怡保，从吉隆坡出发，半路绕路去美罗试试鸭腿面。

由于抵达时间太早，鸭腿面还未出炉，我们就先点了鲜虾云吞面。个人觉得云吞面普通。

不久，鸭腿面出炉了，就点了一碗汤来试试。汤里除了鸭腿，有红枣，药材，味道挺不错的。

据说，鸭腿汤不是用煮的，而是用蒸的！所以，鸭肉吃起来很有肉汁而且肉质不会老，保持鲜嫩！

Taman Saujana Hijau, Putrajaya

An attractive 41 hectare park at Putrajaya area with 3 zones; a European Garden, an Oriental Garden and an English Garden.

I like this park very much. I'm pleasantly surprised by the well tended lovely gardens of blooms here. I never thought such beautiful park existed in Malaysia.

#170624-25 A trip to Sungai Lembing彩虹瀑布

久仰了的彩虹瀑布，L10几年前高中时去过一次。我和L好几年前经过一次，还爬了林明山，

在吉隆坡的点心早餐。一个错误的决定，让我们塞车塞了8个小时才到林明。

美味的葡式蛋挞。

能再次踏足林明还是一个很不错的体验的！

#170408 Japan_1st day @

Throughout the years, I've been hearing a lot of people raving about Japan as a very fun holiday destination. Finally, I have made it to Japan. Kansai area (Osaka, Kyoto & Nara) are the places that we have covered for our maiden trip to this Land of Rising Sun.

We flew with MAS to Osaka's Kansai International Airport (KIX) and took a 75-minute train ride to Kyoto on the JR Haruka Airport Express with the “ICOCA and Haruka discount ticket package”.

#170429 - 30 Sasaran & Sekinchan

I first heard of Sasaran from my ex-colleague, Vivian. Apparently she has got friends who have visited Sasaran.

Located 70km from Kuala Lumpur, Sasaran is known as Malaysia’s version of Salar de Uyuni, a popular salt flat in Bolivia. It awesomely offers a very nice background and mirrors the images which makes the photo a really picture-perfect one. However, you won’t be able to witness this phenomenon everyday, it only happens for four to five days every month (初一，十五）, depending on the tide.

From the jetty, we took a ferry ride of around 40 minutes to the "Sasaran Beach". We were really lucky to have witnessed some wild dolphins jumping out of the water during the ride and it was my first time. Not to mention that there were also many seagulls flying freely across the sky. The sun was scorching hot though.

After around 1.5 hours at Sasaran beach, we were ferried to Swan Island for our lunch and toilet break. We were given a small pack of Nasi lemak and a bottle of water by the tour agency.

We then returned to the mainland and continued our journey north to Sekinchan which is around 40km from Sasaran.

Sekinchan is one of the major rice producer in Malaysia, at the same time a fishing village that supply fresh seafood. It used to be very quiet until a HK drama had some of their scenes taken at the beach at Sekinchan and since then it became one of the fastest developed tourist attractions in Malaysia.

We reached Sekinchan in the evening and directly we checked in our guesthouse for a good shower and some rest before heading out for our seafood feast.

It was actually my second time patronizing this home-style seafood restaurant. I remembered having the best clams in my life here and I would like to reminisce the taste.

The seafood here was indeed very fresh. It's really a very satisfying meal for me.
